Yahoo we have been having some 50* and 60* days. All ice is off the ponds. Fish are swimming to the top. Do you think Spring will be here soon? I sure hope so it has been a rough winter. I am so ready for nice weather.

I saw tiny little lily leaves springing up in the pond this week.
Today it looks like they have grown alot...the size of the leaves are larger and are about an inch high...yippyy

Oh and the trees were covered in some kind of bird I have never seen before in our neighborhood...They all soured in at the same time...thousands of them...I am thinking they are migrating back home to the north..They looked simular to a cardinal, with a black stip across their eyes and yellow bellies..

Sounds like a Waxwing, they are known to be erratic. We had a flock of Bohemian Waxwings for a few days last week. They were a little off track for the NW and Alaska. Were they eating berries?

My crocus are coming out of the ground and it has been pretty warm here in the 50s and a few 60s, but I still have a small pile of snow outside. I think we are the only ones left in the neighborhood with snow.

This is the bird I was talking about the other day on the other thread...they were here...I had never seen them before..

Geesh more snow coming tonight. They say we could have 10 inches by Sunday. I hope they are wrong.
